Surgery Times

Much Wenlock is open Monday to Friday between 8.30am - 6.00pm, appointments also available 6.30pm - 8.30pm Monday evenings only (by appointment only).

Cressage is open throughout the week between 8.30am - 12.30pm and 2.00 - 6.00pm, but closing on Fridays at 12.30pm.

The doctors work on a rota system across both surgeries.
Details of which days they are on duty are shown on the surgery times page
(although this sometimes changes subject to holidays etc).

PRACTICE NEWS - Winter 2015/16

The practice will be closed from 6 pm on Thursday 24 December 2015, reopening on Tuesday 29 December.  We are also closed on Friday 1 January 2016.  For urgent medical attention whilst the practice is closed please contact Shropdoc on: 0333 222 66 55

For Information:  Every patient registered with the practice is allocated a named accountable GP.  If you wish to know who your named GP is please contact the practice after 10.30 am Monday to Friday.  Please note that your accountable GP may not be the GP you usually see and you are not restricted to only seeing your accountable GP; you may continue to book appointments to see the GP of your choice.


FREE NHS HEALTHCHECKS - if you are aged between 40 and 74 and are not currently diagnosed with heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes or kidney disease, you are eligible for a free healthcheck which will assess your risk of developing these disease and provide advice steps to take to maintain or improve your  health now and in the future.  The practice will be offering these checks from April 2016, however in the meantime you can arrange a check locally by contacting 0345 678 9025 to find the nearest provider.

ACCESS TO ON-LINE SERVICES.  from 31.3.15 patients with access to the internet will be able to book appointments, order repeat medications and view a summary of their medical record (allergies, medications, immunisations) via the secure website: Patient.Co.UK

To register for these services please complete an application form, available from this website or from the practice and bring this with you to the practice together with 2 pieces of identification; one with a photograph eg driving licence, passport, and the other with your current address, eg council tax bill or bank statement.  If you are unable to provide identification please speak to reception.

Patients already registered to book appointments will need to complete the application form and provide identification in order to obtain access to repeat prescription requests and summary medical record information.

Please note this service is available for patients aged 18 and over only and identification is required.

The Patient.Co.UK facility for ordering repeat prescriptions has replaced the method of ordering prescriptions via this website , please note that the muchwenlockprescriptions and cressageprescriptions emails will no longer be operational from 31.8.15.
